Below we inform you about the processing of personal data when using this website (jermaik.com) and the contact and booking forms offered on it.
Personal data is any data that can be related to you personally, such as name, address, email, phone number, IP address, or user behavior.
The controller responsible for data processing within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Maik Jeremy Repsch
Finkenweg 7
56589 Niederbreitbach
Germany
Phone: +49 177 3985122
Email: film@jermaik.com
We are not legally required to appoint a data protection officer. For any questions regarding the processing of your data, you are welcome to contact us at any time (contact details above).
This applies to all visitors of this website, as well as anyone who contacts us via the contact or booking forms (hereinafter "users").
When you access this website, our hosting provider (see VI.) automatically processes technically necessary data, in particular:
This processing is necessary to display the website and ensure its stability and security (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
If you contact us via the inquiry form, we process the data you voluntarily enter, in particular: name, email address, details about your planned wedding (date, location, desired services, budget, message).
Once you have accepted our offer, the booking form processes significantly more data for the binding execution of the contract, in particular: both partners' names, address (which also serves as the billing address), email address, phone number, wedding date and venue, booked services, agreed price, details on travel and, if applicable, accommodation, as well as the consents you give (including for self-promotion use) together with the timestamp of your consent.
This processing takes place to carry out pre-contractual measures and to fulfil the contract concluded with you (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Details can be found under item XVI.
We use carefully selected external service providers who process data on our behalf or on the basis of a legitimate interest:
Hosting: This website is hosted by Strato AG, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. Your IP address is processed when you visit the site. For details, see Strato's privacy policy at strato.de.
Form delivery: Inquiries submitted via our contact and booking forms are technically transmitted and delivered to us by email via the service Formspree (Formspree, Inc., Austin, Texas, USA). Formspree processes the data you enter in the respective form as well as technical data (including your IP address). This constitutes a transfer of data to the USA. Formspree has committed to complying with the GDPR and relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses for the transfer. For details, see Formspree's privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
Videos: All videos on this website, including the background video in the header of the wedding pages, are delivered directly from our own server. No videos are embedded via third parties such as Wistia or Vimeo, so no data is transferred to third parties for this purpose.
Fonts: The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our own server. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font service, so no data is transferred to third parties for this purpose.
Analytics (Google Analytics): Only with your prior consent do we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Google Analytics uses cookies that enable an analysis of website usage (including pages visited, time spent, approximate location, and device used). Google Analytics is only loaded and becomes active after you have explicitly given your consent via the cookie banner; if you decline, no corresponding data processing takes place. Further details are available in Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Yes. In connection with the service listed under VI., Formspree, data is transferred to the USA. Formspree has contractually committed to maintaining a level of data protection equivalent to the GDPR, in particular via EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
Where consent to Google Analytics has been given (see VI. and XVI.), data is also transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC states that it is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which is intended to ensure an adequate level of data protection.
Inquiry data is deleted once it is no longer needed to process your request, at the latest 12 months after an inquiry that does not result in a booking. Booking and contract data is subject to statutory retention periods (in particular 6–10 years under German commercial and tax law, §§ 257 HGB, 147 AO). Server log files are deleted automatically after a short period, unless longer retention is required for security purposes (e.g. to investigate attacks).
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To exercise these rights, an informal message to us is sufficient (contact details above).
Where your data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to the processing. An informal message to us is sufficient (contact details above).
Any consent given (e.g. for self-promotion use) may be withdrawn at any time with future effect. An informal message to us is sufficient (contact details above). You can withdraw or (re-)grant your consent to Google Analytics at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in this website's footer.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.
Providing your data in the contact and booking forms is voluntary but necessary to process your inquiry or to carry out the booking contract. Without this information, we cannot process your inquiry or perform the contract.
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption to protect data transmission, recognizable by "https" in the address bar.
This website itself does not set any cookies, with the exception of the Google Analytics cookie described below — and even that only once you have explicitly consented. No cookies are used for advertising purposes. Should technically necessary cookies arise server-side as part of hosting, the legal basis for these is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
On your first visit to this website, a cookie banner is shown where you can accept or decline the use of Google Analytics. Your choice is stored locally in your browser (localStorage, not a cookie) and can be changed at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer. Only once you consent is the following cookie set:
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect (see XI.), or alternatively use the browser add-on provided by Google to disable Google Analytics, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
